My desktop is full of inspirational quotes, such as, the one above. Surround yourself with the positive. “You can do it!”
To date, I have not given in to relying on a GPS.
They have taken the fun out of travel and adventure. No one knows how to give directions anymore. The serendipitous moments, meeting people on the road, to gather information is history.
And it’s strange how this technological phenomenon occurred so quickly.
As a whole, humanity is one step closer to being LOST.
We had gone back to the Island, after a year of travel. First we had gone to Houston. A word of warning, don’t bother to bring marijuana with you, to Texas. It’s cheap and plentiful. Second, take some with you to California. It was hard to come by and outrageously expensive. But we know that things have changed and I would have no idea concerning cost or availability of any drug. But back then, it was a different story.
The only pictures I have are in my head.
