Phantasmagoria ~ noun
a sequence of real or imaginary images like those seen in a dream
We create our realities. That’s what “they” say.
Act as if it already is.
These ideas are shared with us through Scripture, as well as modern day New Age pablum.
Personally, I believe it to be true. Our thoughts become our words. Our words become our actions. Our brain tapes, memories, can rule, or we can replace them with mantras.
I have a follower, who reads my posts, and always signs anonymous, precluded by Peace Love and Harmony. For whatever reason, for the past few weeks, those words took precedence, in a large percentage of my grey matter, leaving me with no space to think of anything else. The results were good times, amicable interactions with my fellow man; good days, which turned into good weeks.
I am no stranger to mantras, meditation and string theory. Unlike the past, I refused to do the internal battle, playing devil’s advocate. I steered clear of temptation. And there’s a lot out there these days. Internet dallying of politics and opinions in general are at the top of my list. Bad manners in the line up, surfing is second; being it my injustices or another’s.
I was reminded of a post I read, written by Exit 1A. It was about a science fiction novel, The City and The City. (copied from Wikipedia) The twin cities are composed of crosshatched, alter, and total areas. “Total” areas are entirely in one city, the city in which the observer currently resides. “Alter” areas are completely in the other city, and so must be completely avoided and ignored. Between these are areas of “crosshatch”. .
One population is ignorant of the other. They don’t mix. If by chance they get a glimpse from one city to the other, through the overlaying lines, it is considered a “breach”.
I haven’t written a post since December 5th. I was contemplating peace.
My mind wants to dive into explanations, but I refuse. It would be a “breach”.
It seems too simple.
May peace, love and harmony continue to bounce it’s way through the universe.
With gratitude, to my friend,
Peace, Love and Harmony
Merry Christmas
Big World,
God’s grace is immeasurable, His mercy inexhaustible, His peace inexpressible.
Wonder leads to gratitude. With gratitude, to my friend. For You are good for the soul.
Please enjoy living one day at a time, one moment at a time. Thank you.
