Third World Squat

It has been a personal goal.

And I finally did it today for the first time.

*I wrote this sentence and saved it two days ago.

I felt wonderful. Then the following day, I ran the slowest mile of my life. It was ego crushing, however, briefly.

It made me keenly aware of my emotions.

I let it all go.

Today, I had a great work out. I was happy with my #62 push presses. But when I was doing the WOD, I read the board wrong and was doing hang cleans, front squats, when I wasn’t suppose to squat, and loaded myself down with too much weight. So, my end score was not impressive. However, I once again know that’s not the point.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
